MoSync 2.0 Arrives To Help C/C++ Code Go Mobile

According to Google, Yahoo, Microsoft, and a host of other huge corporations, mobile is the future. At the same time, even these usually-strong companies have had a hard time succeeding in the field, so it may interest you to know that help in the form of MoSync 2.0 has arrived.

A Mobile Sorcery press release states that MoSync 2.0 is "the first true cross-platform development systems that transforms C / C++ code to mobile platforms." More specifically, it "enables developers to use one single source code to hundreds of phones with different operating systems and form factors," including Java, Symbian, and Windows Mobile.

The release then continues, "The MoSync 2.0 cross-platform and porting process takes just minutes rather than days."

Saving time on that scale could prove invaluable in terms of improving morale and beating competitors to any given punch. There are more tangible potential benefits relating to stuff like payroll, too, of course.

Now, there are some known issues with the product - the current version of MoSync 2.0 is considered a beta - but on the whole, this SDK looks like an interesting way to take C/C++ code to the next level.
